Brain Awareness Day

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Tennessee at Martin, in partnership with the education department at Discovery Park of America, is excited to host Brain Awareness Day on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. Five engaging and interactive stations will be set up throughout the museum, each offering hands-on opportunities for guests to explore the fascinating world of the brain and nervous system. Visitors will have the chance to participate in activities demonstrating how the brain processes information, controls movement and responds to stimuli. Through these immersive experiences, guests of all ages can gain a deeper understanding of neuroscience in a fun and educational way.
