Join us on Monday, Jan. 20, as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with special programming featuring the Lane College Choir from Jackson, Tennessee. In addition, photos and video recordings of and about Dr. King will be displayed throughout the museum. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day is observed annually on the third Monday in January. The day commemorates the life and work of Dr. King, who was a Baptist minister and prominent leader in the American civil rights movement. MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. Children under 17 and college students and staff with their ID will receive free admission. King Day 2025 is sponsored by Jerry Ward Autoplex.
