Event Description:
Each fall, white pelicans stop at Reelfoot Lake’s shallow waters along the Mississippi Flyway to rest and feed. These large birds are easily identified by their white plumage, black-tipped wings, and bright orange bills. Visitors can see them up close during guided tours and special programs. The Pelican Festival offers vendors, Animalogy Live Animal Show, art and photo contest and tours.
